Isabel is a 30-year old woman who rents a room in her parents’ house. She has two children who are totally dependent on her. Her job is selling cosmetics, clothing, and shoes, and most of her customers come to the city’s markets where she has a stall. Competition is high in this line of work, but Isabel has regular customers who seek her products, mostly because of the good prices she offers. With this loan she will increase her working capital allowing her to buy more clothing for which there is a high demand at the moment. This is Isabel’s fourth loan. She was recommended by her parents who personally guarantee all the loans that she has had from Kiva partner, Agrocapital.
