Aurelia, 49, lives in Cusco. She is a single mother of 4 childlren, all of whom are dependent on her. (Sandra, 20, Milagros, 14, Elizabeth, 12, and Juan Carlos, 8). Aurelia is a housewife but also tends to her grocery store. She tells us that she conditioned a room in her home to sell her products. She has been in this line of work for 5 years now and she has done well, thanks to the effort she puts into her work. Aurelia is a member of Asociación Arariwa's "Yanapakuy" communal bank. She is requesting 700 dolars to buy stock items like: sugar, rice, pasta, soft-drinks and milk. Aurelia is grateful for the opportunity offered by this means and pledges to repay in a timely fashion. (Yanapakuy is a quechua word that means "Let's help")
