Englische Projekt-Vorstellung
Mariela, 24, is a cheerful and unassuming young woman; she lives with her family and her greatest desire is to succeed in life. She set up a small, textile workshop in the comfort of her home. She manufactures the most colorful and eye-catching caps in the San José market (an important market in the city of Juliaca). She starts her work day very early in the morning and she infuses her items with much art and imagination in the use of the various materials in order to convert them into the caps she makes. On weekends, she takes time to distribute her caps among the sellers in the market, where she also has her own sales stall. What she likes most about her work is weaving, something she does quite ably. She has been in this line of work for 4 years and considers the most difficult part of her job having to create the finishings for her caps because she is very detail oriented. For later on, she would like to have a larger store where she can sell her caps more comfortably. This is Mariela's second loan with MFP and she plans to apply for others. For this reason, she wants to repay in a timely fashion and not create problems for her communal bank, where she is a well-liked member, because she is very responsible.
