Jean Patrice Bosoki is the president of a group names "Bâptisseurs Plus" composed of 27 micro-entrepreneurs committed in solidarity to benefiting from loans from Kiva and the micro-finance institution HOPE RDC with the goal of developing their businesses. Jean Patrice manages his own general store in an outlying area west of the city of Kinshasa. He entered the world of micro-finance in 1994. The next loan will enable him to bolster the inventory in his store by purchasing a variety of goods, such as soap, canned foods, sugar, etc... with the aim of growing his revenues. His ambition is to expand his store by adding clothing for men and women. He is 50 years old, married, and the father of six children, ranging from 6 to 23 years of age. All of them go to school.
